HOW TO APPLY FOR B.PHARM

1. UPSEE- Counseling
Goel Institute sanctions 85% of the total seats available in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) shall be done through UPSEE -2020 counseling.
2. Management Quota and Vacant Seats (if any)
Goel Institute allows management quota for B.Pharm students per Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University guidelines for which the student has to approach the college. Candidates undergo a written test and Personal interview at the time of admission before the selection committee. The admission under this category would be made purely on the merit basis.
6. Direct Admission to Second year students through LATERAL ENTRY (FOR DIPLOMA HOLDERS)
Lateral Entry seats are limited in numbers and in addition to the sanctioned intake at first year level. Students belonging to Diploma stream shall be considered only after filling the seats in this category. All the admissions will take place as per the norms of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.PHARM

B.PHARM 1ST YEAR
TWO MODES FOR ADMISSIONS
1. THROUGH UPSEE

85% of the intake seats available in B.Pharm will be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any institution located in U.P. or whose parents are domicile of U.P. & who has Qualified UPSEE and is allotted Goel Institute of Pharmacy & Sciences (AKTU CODE-392) & Goel Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AKTU CODE-960) after Counseling.
Qualified candidates, who have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates ) without grace in each compulsory subject as Physics, Chemistry and one optional subject as Maths/ Biology.
lf the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P., he/she has to produce domicile certificate of his/her parents (Father OR Mother only) at the time of verification of document on certificate 3 (format available on www.upsee.nic.in)
2. THROUGH DIRECT ADMISSION UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA/ VACANT SEATS AFTER COUNSELING OF UPSEE
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

For admission to first year of B.Pharm candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in required subject combination (two compulsory & one optional) taken together. The candidate is essentially required to pass without any grace marks (as per respective Board/University) in each subject of the subject group (As per rule)
MERIT LIST CRITERIA
The 15% seats in the institute shall be filled by the candidates under management quota as per eligibility criteria. The vacant seats in Management quota or vacant seats after counseling of UPSEE shall be filled strictly in following preference order, within fifteen days of the last date of counseling:
1. Qualified candidates of UPSEE, fulfill the eligibility as per eligibility criteria. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE.
2. Qualified candidates of JEE (Main) fulfilling the eligibility as per clause of eligibility criteria for B. Tech.
3. Merit of the candidates based on total marks in subject combination of qualifying examination.
B.PHARM 2ND YEAR (LATERAL ENTRY)
There are two modes for admissions
1. THROUGH UPSEE

Candidates who have passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)’ OR whose parents are domicile of U.P. and he/she has passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., are eligible for admission to second year of B. Pharm. only.

2. THROUGH DIRECT ADMISSION UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA/ VACANT SEATS AFTER COUNSELING OF UPSEE
Qualification criteria

For direct admission to 2nd Year of B.Pharm, a candidate must have passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in U.P. with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)’ OR whose parents are domicile of U.P. and he/she has passed 2/3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P.
Merit List Criteria
The vacant seats in B.Pharm. course after UPSEE counseling for lateral entry (second year) shall be filled within 15 days of the last date of counseling in following order
1. Qualified candidates of UPSEE, who fulfill the eligibility. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE.
2. Thereafter, the vacant seats, if any, will be filled on merit by such candidates who have passed the qualifying examination and are qualified for lateral entry admission.

ELIGIBILITY FOR D.PHARM

Education (BTE) – Counseling
Diploma admission shall be done through JEECUP counseling.
2. Management Quota and Vacant Seats (if any)
Goel Institute allows management quota for Diploma students as per Board of Technical Education Guidelines on vacant seats only.

THERE ARE TWO MODES FOR ADMISSIONS
1. THROUGH BTE (JEECUP)

10th & 12th passed/ appeared with minimum 35 % marks with Maths-50% Marks, Physics & Chemistry -50% Marks.
